IMPROV WORKSHOPS (Fall ‘25):

Location: Southside Theater, Building D, 3rd Fl., Fort Mason (SF)

Intermediate/Advanced:

Wednesdays 11/5, 11/19, 12/10, 12/17. 6:00-8:30 PM, $20.
Designed for people with some background in improv training/performance.
Limited to 12 people per session in order to allow for longer scenes within which to delve deeper into character, relationship, place, etc.

All Levels:

Coming Winter, ‘26

Workshops led by John Lowell who brings 20+ years of improv and acting experience including improv training with The Groundlings (Los Angeles), Upright Citizens Brigade (Los Angeles), BATS Improv (San Francisco) and various individual teachers. He spent some years doing small-house theater in San Francisco after studying acting at Studio A.C.T (San Francisco), followed by scene study and on-camera classes with various instructors in Los Angeles and Atlanta.

PERFORMANCES: Combinations of Bay Area improvisors and different formats (schedule coming).

JAMS: Open to all comers/experience levels (schedule coming).
